Mr. Robata

While New York is known worldwide as a Mecca for creative cuisine, Mr. Robata’s Midtown location—just a few blocks from Times Square’s tangle of chain restaurants and hot-dog stands—was something of a strange spot for its high-end pairing of a centuries-old “Robata” grilling technique with adventurous contemporary offerings like lobster ceviche and foie gras cappuccino.

The first step was to build a site that mirrored the cozy restaurant’s upscale-lounge atmosphere, and to show locals a haven from the tourist-heavy strip of Broadway that houses the restaurant. Our in-house photography team captured that beautifully, along with the simple, elegant presentation of the restaurant’s fantastic cuisine.
